how bad did you kill your e brake, and transmission. sounds like you left the e brake up half the time, fyi, front wheel drive cars can’t do regular donuts, only reverse, get an r32 then make a new video, granted your repping a jetta. so for that.. jetta love.

It’s cool dude, I was just giving you some information. Yeah it seems that the country of make is becoming only where the car and parts are designed and engineered, not where it’s finally assembled. Final assembly of autmobiles is getting dished out to places with cheaper labor, as with almost everything that’s manufactured nowadays. And can you blame them? It may not be ethical, but it’s definitely business efficient.

Yes I realized that right after I wrote that, my bad. Lol but I didn’t know ANY domestics were made in Taiwan wow. Especially an American truck…..guess the line between domestic and import is disappearing more and more each day.

well guess what my uncles gmc suburban was made in Mexico and my dads chevy silverado same year was made in taiwan so most are made in there own country think about it that would be really stupid to have all hondas built in mexico

  14. thegman1234 - February 1st, 2010 at 8:41 am

That’s not always true. There were a good number of Wolfsburgs with the 2.0 and a few regular non GLIs with the 2.0. I actually own the latter. My Jetta is neither a Wolfsburg or GLI and it’s a 2.0t.

  15. thegman1234 - February 1st, 2010 at 8:52 am

Yes only Wolfsburg Edition Jettas are made in Germany. But it really makes no difference because it’s just the final assembly. Jettas assembled in Pueblo are essentially exactly the same as Jettas assembled in Wolfsburg. They’re still designed and engineered in Germany, and built with German parts. The labor is just cheaper in Mexico.

  16. yellowmusicfreak - February 1st, 2010 at 8:57 am

Dude I own one I’ve seen the little label on the door several times most jettas are built in Pueblo, Mexico or some town like that. Not all of them are made in Wolfsburg, Germany

  19. MrSpaceman01 - February 1st, 2010 at 11:05 am

Dude, that is ridiculous, all your doing is a lame lookin burnout. It would’ve been pretty funny if your tires blew.

  20. nazze - February 1st, 2010 at 11:54 am

  21. SBDTHRU - February 1st, 2010 at 12:02 pm

Ever heard of front wheel drive? Go watch tokyo drift some more and you’ll notice all of the cars are rear-wheel drive. This is pretty good considering he used the e-brake the entire time.
